The Prompt: Write a letter to your younger self.

Robin,

You are not going to believe anything in this letter, but it is all true.

There is hope. You will have happiness. You will meet the most amazing, wonderful woman, and you will make each other happy. She will love you as you are, unconditionally, and that love that she gives you will help you to be a better person, better than you could ever imagine. She gives you hope and faith. To make this absolutely mad situation more confusing, she isn't the only one who will love you, despite all your attempts to keep everyone away. It gets tiring holding those walls up, doesn't it?

The happiness and love that you experience on day is worth dealing with all the rest. She is worth it.

When you find yourself on the cliff, on the railing, on the bridge, listen to the tiny voice that keeps you where you are and remember that there's hope and possibility and happiness in your future to help you walk away from the edge.

Sincerely,

An older, wiser, happier you.
