TRAINING TO THE MAX
well, first of all, let me just say that I AM GOING TO BE ON NATIONAL FREAKING NEWS! it'll be on CNN tomorrow night (Saturday) from 7pm-8pm and then again on Sunday from 10am-11am.
what is this all about you might ask? well, the political TV show Crossfire used to be filmed on GW campus. the show got cancelled and replaced with CNN: On the Story. the premise being CNN reporters go 'behind the scenes' of stories they've been working on. well, all the CFs went to a filming. everyone's asked to write down a question, and i got chosen to read my question. crazy.
in other news, my room is FREAKING the usual bed, nightstand, desk, bathroom. ALSO a FULL sized refrigerator, a dining room table and 2 chairs, a TV stand, a huge microwave, and extra sink, a couch with a pull out bed, a big comfy chair with an automan (sp?), balcony, faces condy's apt, and it's just plain huge. come visit.
goodness, CF training (RA's for most schools) has been crrrrazy. lots of info on drugs, alcohol, sexual assault, psychological problems, anorexia and bulemia, community building, the list goes on. they stuck us on mt vernon for a few days...good bonding and very refreshing after being COMPLETELY alone my first 2 nights with no sheets/blankets/pillows.
still stressed about a few things, but theyll get done.
