Shal's graduation party, and some other tidbits

May 30, 2005 22:31

So Shalini's graduation party was SOO SOO fun, as many people have already pointed out. I really enjoyed doing another Indian dance. I was so afraid that Natasha's chapel talk was going to be my last one. And after 6 yrs of doin that stuff, that's pretty monumental. anyhoo, we'll def bein more of those as natasha's relatives' weddings come around.
and it was a bit crazy when i found out EN ROUTE to the party that i was supposed to give a speech. but i jotted it out pretty fast, and it wasn't too horrible. anyhoo, good food, fun dancin, lots o memories. i'd just like to give a quick shout out to miss emily dake who can now officially move her hips ;) i'm so proud of you kiddo! and stacy and jack and a bunch others were gettin down too! fun-ness.

i've had a few phone convos with kills and amelia. they seem to be having a super time (read amelia's lj for more details). i'm incredibly jealous and incredibly regretting not deciding to go with them. but circumstances change, what can ya do? anyhoo, big shout out to those two...miss ya much!

hung out with preston, anne r, caroline, mars, megs, and joseph the other night. good times fo sho. but next time we'll be more prepared provisions-wise, so it'll be extra fun. and i hope some other peeps can be there as well.

well, my second cousin died yesterday. talk about weird. she's just one of those ladies who's always around, ya know? i mean, i'm fine, but im a little worried about my dad and my grandmother. and today was the g-mother's bday, so it was kinda hard to celebrate.

on another note, gps camp starts next week, and i need some ideas for the skits for theater class if any of you are bored. basically i need 4 princess stories, 4 explorer stories, and 4 superhero stories. the themes being service, discovery, and integrity/responsibility/courage/teamwork respectively. any help would be appreciated.

ok history test on thursday, so back to studyin.

p.s. it was SOOO good to talk to em, ei ei, and eric! i miss you guys.
