"Its a hotel of some sort Doctor. Surprisingly we've not found a way to leave yet." The Fifth incarnation raised an eyebrow at the Doctor infront of him. Regardless of had he said who he was the Doctor always had a knack for finding (and avoiding) himself in a crowd.
"Don't mind if I do thank you Doctor." The fifth incarnation put his hand in the proffered bag and pulled out a jelly baby before popping it in his mouth.
"Not that I've been able to find." He shook his head, "Our Ninth self's is refusing to take off and mine just disappeared the moment I stepped out the door."
And the eighth incarnation nods his head and moves the bag back into his pocket. "You're welcome."
"She can be stubborn that way. Has an odd sense of humor as well. I suppose the only thing to do is make the best of things." A pause. "After all, if there is a way to here there must be someway from here."
A tiny grin appeared on the Doctor's features, "nothing can keep us contained for long. Especially when there's five of us to work on the problem."
This Doctor's hands made their way to their pockets for want of something else to do. "I don't think this place has much of a sense of time. It's been a while...I arrived after our tenth but before the fourth."
A small nod, yep five of them. For now at least. "I've heard talk that Romana is here...but I'm yet to run into her myself. We've also a few of our old companions as well." None for either of them though.
"There's quite a few of what I gather are our future companions about, I've run into old Harry and seen Sarah lurking about. I-I think I heard Susan's around as well. None of my current companions as yet though."
"An American Captain? I believe he said his name was Jack?"
"...Not quite. Friends. I'm traveling alone. I did give Grace the chance to come along though, she chose to stay behind." He offers a shrug. "Have you been a recluse, Doctor?"
"Ahhh...yes...him..." The Doctor swallowed, paled a little and nodded. Yes, same person.
A small chuckle, "why not kidnap her like we did Tegan hmmm?" The Doctor pulled a hand from a pocket and ran it through his hair, "well...not exactly a recluse...more...not as outgoing as the rest of ourselves. As you well know."
"We will, it's best not to ask too many questions."
It's a good thing he's talking to himself, isn't it? He knows just what to say. "She would have become too attached." She. Not him, always pin it on the other, keep his other self's hearts from stopping on him.
"Sarah Jane is never too busy for us, besides, she may have a few answers. She's sure to be investigating this, a perfect excuse to speak to her, isn't it?"

"No way to leave?" Worry crosses his features and he rubs his temple. "Surely the TARDIS...?"

"So there are five of us here. I've seen two of us, counting you now. ...Our fourth looks well." A pause. "There are other Time Lords here as well."

"Which companions are about, do you know?"

"And no Grace Holloway either, I suppose. Or Lee." He makes a bit of a face, but smiles, warmly. "Harry and Sarah. And...Susan? Truly?"
Reply
"Grace? Lee? Companions of yours I gather?" The Doctor nodded, "from what I gather...Personally I've only met Harry."

Is this a blush? Certainly not. But the Byronesque Doctor does become rather absorbed with his cravat. "It's best she didn't come along, actually."
"Oh, I remember." It's nice to say that he does too. He remembers. "Even if it were Sarah Jane and Susan?"

"Best she didn't? Whyever not?" A confused look on the younger Doctor's features, actually...make that more an oblivious one.
"To be fair, I've only just heard about Susan...and well...Sarah Jane always seems a bit busy..."
