Enter a very annoyed Preacher leader... why? Because this wasn't home. Not even close to it. He wasn't sure where he was. Not that it really mattered. It was away from those things. But still... too much had been left back home. For one... Jake. His main concern. This was really annoying. Though turning the way he came he frowned and couldn't help

Jake turns when he hears the familiar voice and grins as he starts toward him. "Mickey! There you are, Rose said you was here. Can't believe she says she never even met me."

It never crosses his mind that it might be Ricky, after all, Ricky's dead.

[preachersleader]

"What're you goin' on about Jake? And I thought I'd left you back home." His eyes narrow a bit. "And it's Ricky. You know that better than anyone."

Jake just stares for a moment, unable to respond. When he speaks his voice is low and tense. "...That's not funny. You can't be Ricky. Ricky's dead. I saw the body, I helped bury him!" He's losing his mind, he must be. Either that or Mickey's playing a horribly cruel game with him. He'd rather be losing his mind.

[preachersleader]

And those brown eyes narrow. "You didn't bloody well bury me, Jake. What're you talkin' about?" Yeah, he's even more confused now than what he first was when he came into this place.

"...You were dead. We all split up, trying to get out of the city, remember? The Cybermen went after you and Mickey...only he made it back..." Jake's fist is clenched by his side and he's still not entirely certain if what's happening is real. Time travel, alternate dimensions and aliens he's all okay with. People coming back from the dead, that's a bit different.

[preachersleader]

"Yeah, I remember that. Don't remember nothin' bout me dyin' though." That's actually a bit unnerving to even think about.

[jakey_boys_bfg]

He abruptly moves forward and punches Ricky in the shoulder. "...You bastard, goin' and dyin' on me and then you don't even have the decency to remember it--!" His rant ends as abruptly as it began and he pulls Ricky into a tight, fierce hug.

[preachersleader]

"Not like I was aimin' to die on anyone." Ricky states firmly. And whatever else he was going to say is cute short by the fierce hug he's given. "Not goin' anywhere, Jake."

[jakey_boys_bfg]

"You better not." He makes a harsh sound that's meant to be a laugh and hangs onto Ricky a bit longer before forcing himself to step back a little, though he keeps one hand on Ricky's shoulder. "Damn it's good to see you."

[preachersleader]

The man is still reeling from being told he's dead or meant to be. That Jake helped bury him. He's going to end up needing help... or something. "Good to be seen then." He shakes his head before giving Jake a slight grin. "Now that didn't answer my question on how I got here."

That and for Jake it's been three and a half, almost four years since Ricky died. He can't help returning the smile though. "I dunno how you got here. Don't even know how I got here, I opened the door to the flat and instead I found a posh hotel. Can't get back either, and nobody knows how or why."

[preachersleader]

"Don't think I really care why or how if I'm meant to die back home." Or maybe he is dead or did die and some stupid... yeah, no. He doubts that. "So what's it like, then?"

[jakey_boys_bfg]

If being here means Ricky's alive, Jake's starting to not care too much either. "What's it like here? Hell, I dunno. I only just got here today. The Doctor, Rose and Mickey are here. And Jackie Tyler from Rose's universe. That's about all I know."

[preachersleader]

"What a group we've got here then." He doesn't care simply because he doesn't like the idea of dying. And besides... Jake was here. What else did he need?

Yes, Jake's here. And Jake's not going to be letting Ricky out of his sight until he's certain that he won't vanish or something. "And all from different times, too. Rose said she never even met us. Her mum had to tell her about what happened. Dunno about the others."

[preachersleader]

That might get a little weird but we're sure that Ricky won't mind not being let out of Jake's sight. Besides, who says he's gonna let Jake out of his? "That's going to get a bit confusin'."
