Blair closed her eyes and took a deep breath. She had to be there for him until the very end. Steeling herself for the depressing sight on the operating table, she pushed the curtains open. Her head jerked back at the brand new sight-- clean floors, so clean she could see her reflection inside. This was like nothing she had ever seen in her life.
"Kate?" she called. "... Marcus?" Stupid, like he'd even be here. Wherever here was.
