Matt Hooper was still groggy as he made his way out of his hotel room, he hadn't slept well the night before. Of course, considering the day he'd had yesterday, who could have. He didn't notice anything was strange until he got to the lobby which was certainly not the lobby he'd stumbled into the evening before. "Not my hotel," he announced to himself, looking around in bleary-eyed shock. "Not my hotel...not the beach it was on," he added as he looked outside, taking note of the the plant life he could see, the color of the sky and sea, "not the same climate and not the waters I was in yesterday. What the hell is going on?" Suddenly he didn't feel quite so tired as he stared out at the beach that was very much not Amity Island.
