Genevieve has been patient. For the last two weeks, her arm has been out of the sling, which increased drastically her mobility - she could then wheel herself around and take a shower without help from her friends. She's been watching the calendar - it has a date on it, circled in red.
May 24th.
That is the date where the casts should be getting off, and she's been counting down the days like a prisoner does.
She tried not to be cranky. Really she did. She tried not to let this get the best of her, but the restlessness and the frustration eventually won. She's even angry, which is rare for her - angry about what Harley Quinn did to her, and interested in getting back, because she knows there are scars on her previously flawless skin that will make her lose appeal.
Here she is, in the lobby, and she's hoping to catch Dr. Block, though just about anyone who is able to help her get rid of the cast on her knee and the other one on her leg will be welcome.
And well. If anyone is willing to try and cheer up a cranky, angry, insecure and frustrated teen, they're welcome to give that a shot as well.
Meh. Sorry. Hopefully she'll be back to her sweet self soon enough.
