A tall, black haired man with pointed ears and a military uniform steps through the door, and freezes. This is not the bridge. He silently surveys the strange room for a moment, his calm expression not flickering despite the shock and alarm that courses through him until he manages to surpress the automatic emotional response. A hotel, Terran most likely, from his initial glance it would have seemed to be a perfectly normal building if there were any logical way he could have come to be here. There is not. He turns to look back the way he came, and as he'd expected, instead of the clean lines of the Enterprise's corridors he sees simply the grounds of the hotel with an ocean in the distance. He pulls out his communicator, attempting to make contact with first the Captain, then Uhura and then even Scotty without success. He slowly replaces the device and clasps his hands behind his back, hands clenched more tightly for a few moments than he wishes to acknowledge as he again calms his mind. He is alone, he has, by an unknown method that did not to his knowledge involve a transporter, moved from the ship to a planet, unknown but most likely Earth, and is unable to make contact with the Captain, Communications officer or the engineer most likely to be able to beam him back. "Facinating."
Mun: The young Commander Spock, specifically of the new 2009 Star Trek film. Taken from just past the end of the movie. I will attempt to keep spoilers, especially major ones, from coming up in comments but you may wish to proceed with caution. I only got into the fandom with the new movie but I am attempting to educate myself in all things Trek as quickly as I can. Live long and Prosper, youse guys.
