There's a new person on the beach. To be precise, there's a new person standing in the water, who looks around with quite a bit of confusion. The last thing she remembers, you see, is holding the water at the dam back so the rest of the team could get out. Jean looks tired, to say the least. Wandering on foot toward the shore from the other direction is Warren Worthington, wings half spread behind his back. He waves when he sees someone already at the beach, if he'll recognize her name or face at all it would only be from published research at the like, but he doesn't at first. "Hello," he called, noting how tired she looked. "Just get here?"

"Your guess is as good at mine, I was flying over the midwest when I got here and there aren't exactly any oceans there. All I do know is that there isn't any other land for as far as I or anyone else can fly."

"San Francisco, though that was a while ago. I've been here a long time now." It probably feels longer than it is, though he doens't mind it too much most of the time.

"More than two, maybe two and a half years now. ...You get used to it, after a while and it's mostly a pretty good place. It seems like it has more than it's share of psychopaths sometimes, but the weather's nice, and mostly people don't care if you're, you know, a mutant." He shifts his wings and smiles wryly. "Or a space alien. Or whatever else other people here are."
