An activity for a rainy day

Geneviève is in the lobby.  After some research and some experimentation, she figured out an old VHS player (the top of technology, as far as our 1960's ingenue is concerned), and got a hold of some Alfred Hitchcock movies.

She did mention this before to a friend, and at the same time, she got somewhat influenced by Monsieur Lazarus' idea, and so

Andros spots her when he's going through the lobby and smiles at her as he goes over. "Hi, Genevieve." He looked at the VCR and the tapes curiously, he hadn't quite seen everything Earth had to offer yet. "What's this?"

Genevieve gives Andros a beaming smile. "Andros!" She'll kiss his cheek - by sheer force of habit. "I don't know what it's called, but it plays movies. Do you remember, when I talked about Hitchcock?"

He blushes and pulls back a little out of habit when she does. "I remember. These are his movies?" He points at the tapes.

She nods. "They are. They all have Princess Grace Kelly in it - she's beautiful." She smiles a little. "But they are a bit scary."

He grins a bit, thinking that no movie would scare him too badly after some of the things he's seen in real life. "I'm not too worried about scary movies."

She gives him a small smile. "Lucky you. I can't watch them alone," she says sweetly.

"Why not?" He picks up one of the tapes for a closer look.

[genial_umbrella]

"Because they make me nervous. I enjoy them, though."

It's true that the movies are usually about a creepy stalking attacking a hapless female figure, after all - though the girls do defend themselves well enough.

"I'll watch them with you. I'd like to see them." It's more fun as well to watch movies with a friend.

[genial_umbrella]

"Oh, good!" She grins. "Which one would you like to see first? I really don't mind at all... go ahead and pick!"

"You pick, you know more about them than I do." He makes himself comfortable next to her on the couch. "Which one's your favorite?"

[genial_umbrella]

"Oh, I like them all," she replies with a grin. "I really love To Catch a Thief - the plot twists are so much fun! But... if you would like to be a bit more afraid, I'd go for Rear Window. The attack in the dark is truly frightening."

[lets_rocket]

"Either is fine with me. We could pick one at random?" He's looking forward to it, whichever it is.

[genial_umbrella]

"We could flip a coin, perhaps?" She's truly enthusiastic of any.

[lets_rocket]

"If you have a coin." He laughs.

[genial_umbrella]

She shuffles in her pocked, and pulls out a Franc triumphantly. "Don't lose it, it's all my fortune!"
