The awful events of Halloween night haven't changed the entirety of the island. As much as the murder and mayhem may have affected the residents, outside the hotel, the weather's still clement and balmy and the air's quiet.

Or at least it is until the silence is shattered by a gunshot.

And of course, a gunshot will bring the other person with superhearing in the immediate vicinity. Sure, she's not as flashy as her cousin is at the moment, but she is there, looking around a little worriedly.

"What happened? Are you okay, miss?"

Was everyone here this mind-bogglingly nice? "Yeah," she repeats with a sigh. "Film project gone wrong." It worked with Warren anyway. "Hi, I'm Claire."

Usually it's just the Kent cousins, Claire, don't worry. "Oh, okay." She offers a hand and smiles some. "I'm Kara."

"Nice to meet you. So you're stuck here too, huh?"

"Yeah, I am." There's a bit of a rueful smile. "But it's not so bad! There's a beach and stuff."

"I saw." She glances towards the water with a smile. "Does this place have a name?"

"Uh, I've just heard it called the Hotel."

[savemesaveworld]

"Easy to remember, at least." The smile turns even more amused. "So, Superman's here. And a psychopathic clown, apparently. Anyone else I should know about?"
