She's in the lobby, and the only thing that might draw attention to her is the sexy clickety click of her corporate heels. She's wearing a suit, carrying a suitcase, and her little thin glasses are rimmed lightly and elegantly - the perfect professional touch

Here's a corporate-looking type himself, though his shirt's a bit wrinkled, and he's -- well, rather tense, to say the least. But he pokes his head in at the sound of the bell and gives the new arrival a slow, measured look. "Hi."

She'll return the look, eying him up and down twice - down, up, down, up.

He looks cute, but a bit on the dorky side.

"Hello." She opens her pocket mirror.

"I take it you're new?" No, that measuring look still isn't going away. And you want dorky, Mystique? Wait til you meet Clark.

She leans on the counter, sultry enough, looks at him from over her mirror, almost not his way, but still managing to give him a good look.

"Well, I am at the check in counter. That might suggest it, might it not?"

A bit of an arched eyebrow.

Yes, she's a bitch, Bruce. She's Mystique.

"Then you might have noticed there's nowhere to check in," Bruce says drily. "There's probably a key with your name on it." And yes, he's still very tense, still watching her more than a bit warily. "Bruce Wayne."

[ds_mystique]

"Lily Penbrooke." She extends a professional hand, the lie is flawless.

"A rather peculiar way of doing things, Mr. Wayne."

[goddamnbat]

"Don't blame me, I don't own it." There's a slight flash of the playboy grin, but only a slight one. "Though maybe I should look into getting an island."

[ds_mystique]

The hand is retreived then, her face is nonplussed - he didn't shake it.

"A bit of an isolationist, are you, Mr. Wayne?" She's curious - if the guy is a millionaire... being on good terms can be very helpful.

She gives him a small appreciative look, still no smile, though.

"Maybe I just like the idea of owning an island." Now there's actually a smirk. And the non-hand shaking may have something to do with the extreme paranoia that's currently going on with Bruce darling. "Hell, I can afford one.."

[ds_mystique]

She looks around. "And I suppose there is a reason you are saying this?"

Because, hello. You don't flaunt being so rich when you really are. You hide it, and have bankers to your spending for you.

Well, you flaunt it when you're Bruce Wayne in playboy mode, that's for sure. He shrugs. "I dunno. Cause I like the idea?"

[ds_mystique]

One eyebrow. One. "Certainly a good conversation starter."

She's playing hard to get.

"Well, I'd hope I'd be good at conversations." Maybe a slight, wary playboy smile.
