Why not a fourteen-year-old (almost fifteen) teenage girl superhero?
"Bye mom! Yes, I know, I'll be fine, okay bye, mo--" she turns to shut the car door and is stunned to find that, well, the car door is no longer there. This is not the movie theatre. In fact, this does not look like her town at all.
She was supposed to meet up with her date Tony, you see, (her very first!) which is why Violet Parr is very, very, very, very, very distressed right now and will disappear before your very eyes while she tries to figure out what the heck to do now.
