Padme wanders on down from her room to the kitchen. She hasn't given up on researching a way to get them all home, but it's certainly taken the back burner lately. No big breaks, and no new ideas lately. It seems useless to keep going over the same information again and again and again

And while she's down there, she might run into a very bored, very wired Tortuga wench who's poking around the lobby.
"'lo!"

Padme offers a friendly smile. "Oh, hello!"

She smiles back, really wide. "What're you doing?"

[sen_amidala]

"I was about to go and make a cup of tea," Padme replies. "Would you like to join me?"

[giselle_luv]

"Tea?" After a few moments of hemming ond hawing, she grins, "Why not?"

Padme heads to the kitchen and puts the kettle on. Despite the differences in technology, she's gotten quite proficient at finding her way around the kitchen. As she digs around in the cupboard for teacups and teabags, she says, "I'm sorry. I didn't introduce myself. I'm Padme."

"Don't apologize, everybody forgets! I'm Giselle." She nods rather excitedly; oh yes, she's had some tea already but there's no such thing as 'too much' to her.

"It's nice to meet you," Padme offers a smile and pours them each a cup of tea when the water's boiled, and sits down at the table.

With another jerk of the head, Giselle starts, "Smells delicious, wha' kind is it?"

[sen_amidala]

"I'm not sure," Padme replies with a shrug. "It's nothing like what we have at home."

[giselle_luv]

She laughs, "As long as it's good. Where're ya from?"

[sen_amidala]

"Coruscant," Padme replies. "But I grew up on Naboo."

[giselle_luv]

"...that in France?"
