Claire had absolutely no clue what was going on. One moment she was on her way home with her family and the next, she was here. She wasn't sure where here was, but it wasn't home. Her father was not with her, that was odd. She really needed a break, she'd been through so much lately and now this? Was she swiped up by someone? No...she'd remember

And Peter had just been coming down from his room when he saw her. Either the Fates were playing tricks on him or she was really there. One of the two... he wasn't sure which.

"Claire?"

"Peter?" She mirrored his surprise. She wanted to throw her arms around him. He was alive and he looked okay.

[powermimic]

"The one and only last I checked." He states with a grin.

[jstacheerleader]

"it's good to see you." Claire told him, smiling.

[powermimic]

"It's good to see you too." And now that she was here he could easily protect her. Nothing to stand in his way.

She wrapped her arms around him, embracing him.

Okay... that wasn't expected. But he wraps his arms around her hugging her back. "There's two others here. And you should have an envelope on the desk with your name on it. It'll have your room key."

[jstacheerleader]

"Thanks." Claire said. "So...you look good." Lame.

[powermimic]

"No problem." He leads her over to the desk and reaches over and pulls off the envelope before handing it to her. "Um... should I not?"

[jstacheerleader]

"I don't know...I mean you have my ability so you were probably okay."

[powermimic]

Okay... confused young Petrelli here. "Okay from what, Claire?"

[jstacheerleader]

"Going nuclear?" Did he not remember?

[powermimic]

"I've never gone nuclear, Claire. That's not even something I can do."

[jstacheerleader]

"Yes you can...because of that guy. You almost blew up New York."

[powermimic]

Those brown eyes watched her in confusion. "Claire, I don't know what you're talking about. I've never met a man that could do something like that." And then what she was saying sunk in. "What?!" Him nearly blow up New York... okay, that can't be good. But wait... how can that happen if he's never gone nuclear or met a man who can?

"You must be from a different time." Claire said. "I probably shouldn't tell you anything else."
