Back From the Dead?

He's settled in the lobby with his legs criss-crossed, leaning back on his arms and studying each of the police boxes with keen interest before he moves to his feet and turns about. Dark hair frames his youthful face and hangs over his eyes. He shook it out and made a face.

"Doctor! Tegan! Nyssa? Come on then, you must be about here someplace."

No one can mistake who the boy is looking for, but when Turlough enters the room, he has no idea why the boy is looking for them. "What's this? Who're you?"

"What's what? This? It seems to be a hotel." he replies, seriously though he is simply being difficult. "Why does it matter who I am? Who're you?"

[trion_prince]

"Because you shouting for people I know, and I don't know you." He crosses his arms, trying to superior.

[alzarianprodigy]

Oh, not a good idea. Adric stuck his chin out and took on his best know-it-all tone (and he's good at those) and spoke again. "And that makes it your business?"

[trion_prince]

"Yes, actually." Turlough has survived the Doctor being superior at him. "I'm Turlough," he offers by way of a backhanded apology.

[alzarianprodigy]

"Well then who are you and how do you know them because I haven't met you."

He hesitates and shoots back. "Adric. I'm Adric."

[trion_prince]

Turlough frowns. He doesn't say the obvious though. "I got your room. You're some kind of child genius aren't you?"

[alzarianprodigy]

"He gave you my room?" He had expected it to be jettisoned. He just shook his head though and when he spoke again it was with a scowl. "I'm not a child but yes, that would be me."

[trion_prince]

"It's the one Tegan showed me to anyway. It was full of... your stuff, I guess." He doesn't comment. He thinks the young teen seems pretty childish to him.

[alzarianprodigy]

"Figures it'd be Tegan." Adric mused, ratherly meanly. "Nyssa wouldn't have."

"So. Why're you along then?"

[trion_prince]

"I had to get away from Earth." Turlough shrugged. "I was exiled got stuck there."

[alzarianprodigy]

"There are worse places to be stuck. Doesn't mean you had to stick around the TARDIS." ...Is that jealousy, Adric? Bitterness, maybe?

[trion_prince]

"Hey, don't get that way with me. The Doctor was going to take me home."

[alzarianprodigy]

"...That makes sense. He was going to take Tegan home too. It didn't work."

[trion_prince]

"I've noticed. Still, it's educational, travelling around."

[alzarianprodigy]

"Broadens the mind, he says."

He gives Turlough a suspicious look and speaks again. "So. Why so protective of them?"
