It's Valentine's Day again.
Last year, Wendla was holed up in her room with a hangover from hell, hating her life.
This year, she's determined to pretend like she never smashed up all the china, or threatened Moritz with a fork. This year, she's made heart-shaped sugar cookies with pink frosting for all of her friends, and placed them outside their doors. The extras are sitting on a plate for anyone to take.
And, as for Wendla, she's dolled up in a pink dress for the occasion, and sitting somewhere near her cookies, very open for Valentine's Day schmoozing.
