When Jekyll finally comes accross her, he gives her a soft, almost sad smile. "Lucy... this is no place for you, what are you doing here?"

Lucy starts a little when she first sees him, then looks away sadly. "Well, Dr. Jekyll, I can't say I'm doing much, having just arrived...." She then adds to herself, more than anyone, "At any rate, what sort of place is this that it is not for the likes of me... Heaven? For my dear doctor, I can't think I should ever find the likes of you in hell...."

"Are you settling in alright, then?" He took her hand and kissed it politely.

At her second statement, he frowned, "No, I'm not sure Heaven is the place for me either."

Lucy looks sad at this, though she does not pursue the matter. "I have made wonderful acquaintances around here," she murmurs. "Including the young Miss Carew...."

Jekyll took a deep breath. "Yes, Emma told me you'd met her." He glanced away, embarassed. "She is an amazing young woman. I'm honoured to have her as my fiancee."

Lucy blushes furiously, ashamed with herself. "I am sorry Dr. Jekyll. I do hope you did not mistake me. I agree that she must be the perfect bride... congratulations, both of you, and I do wish you nothing but the best."
