Well. Hello.

. . . I'm called Clue. And I'm here because this mad girl says I ought to get out more, which is stupid, because I get out constantly, only I spend my time doing useful things like solving murders, instead of . . . of socializing. I don't see anything wrong with that, do you?

Oh, and now this "typist" of mine is saying I shouldn't be ( Read more... )

Hi Clue! I'm Tag! It must be awfully interesting to solve murders all the time. I'd rather be spending my time playing though. Don't you like to have fun with your friends?

It is fascinating.

"Friends" would imply people one trusts, wouldn't it? This presents a certain difficulty, you see, because everyone is a suspect, after all, and it doesn't do to allow one's head to be clouded by emotional bias.

Oh, well, maybe when you don't have a muder to solve, you can make friends with someone! I promise you'll be a lot happier with a friend to play with!

There are always murders to solve, and I am overjoyed to be the one to do it, I assure you.

Although sometimes I think it might be nice to have a partner of sorts. Purely for the extra input, of course.

How many murders have you solved? People aren't killed that often. Are they?

I think you should find a partner! A friend! They could give you a new view of your murders. *nodnod*

Oh, countless numbers! Some of them are very simple to solve, you see. Then it's easy enough to shuffle up the cards and start again with a new, intriguing case. Then there are the more difficult ones, which are wonderfully absorbing, and worth every moment spent on them. I enjoy the challenge. People are killed very often at Mr. Boddy's mansion, you see. Usually the host himself. I don't know why he insists on inviting the same guests again and again, given that they keep stabbing him and hitting him over the head with pipes and things, but it does keep me occupied, so I shan't argue with him on the matter.

Always useful to have someone else looking over the evidence, I suppose, and Scarlet and Green are rather tricky lately . . .

*giggles* You're awfully talkitive when you like the subject.

Wow! That's amazing! And you always solve them? Everyone? You must be a great dectective! Using your mind and all that. I like using my body, myself. Running and all that.

It does seem strange that he would invite the same people over and over? Mr. Boddy comes back to life after ever game? That's a useful trick!

I'll be your friend! I don't know how much help I'd be figuring out mysteries, but I'd try!

I do tend to get caught up in the subject, but there's just so much to say about it. All of the minute, fascinating details to be explored . . .

Oh, I've got to solve them all, or I can't go on to the next one after. I fail to see the appeal in running, really, unless it's to catch up to a suspect or perhaps to get to the crime scene before anyone tampers with valuable evidence.

*considers*

I say! How fast can you run?

*grins* Oh, pretty fast! I've been doing it all my life, you know.

My notes. I couldn't manage if I didn't keep record of my findings somehow, after all. Organization is key.

*laughs* I'm a finding?

Everything new I learn about is a finding. Who knows when I will need to remember who here has a talent for running? It could be important.
