Introduction of flamey flamey doom!
A canonically and rather inexcusably handsome man in courtly, semi-scottish garb enters the mansion, ready for yet another awkward and undesirable encounter with proper etiquette. Bowing rather stiffly, more due to fatigue than dedication to propriety, he began.
"I am Demnor DeMarian, Aristok of Branion. I have journeyed far and wide, seeking new territory to conquer, and new places to escape certain members of my court. I look forward to meeting as few of you as possible what should be a most interesting experience."
(Note from the typist: Demnor is from "The Stone Prince," written by Fiona Patton. I'm sure most people aren't familiar with him, but explaining him in detail gets to be Mary Sue-ish. Basically, he is at the center of a religion based on fire. The result being that he spontaneously combusts. Not quite sure how that will pan out, as it isn't well explained in the book, but I'm sure a use will be found for that in RP....)
