A discussion on the time is happening here -

Please dearest, do give your input on the time as well - I haven't any preference, nor my typist, having no obligations that evening or day.

*blushes once again when you kiss her and becomes a bit misty-eyed*
... Married!

*shall make his way to that thread after having confronted the well-wishers on this one* I am almost certain that my typist has no plans for that day.

I know. I cannot believe it... can you? Who would have ever thought that we'd... *looks at Christine and smiles, blushing*

I have already begun the preperations of securing bridesmaids, and set about looking at the decorations, the cake, the dresses...

Do you think M. Nadir Khan--a friend of mine...well, my only friend, really, from Persia--could be the Best Man? He was the one you knew as "the Persian," and he was there... on the day when, er... Anyway. I should certainly like for him to have that role. He helped me escape from execution all those years ago.

I think it is a splendid idea Erik - I had the pleasure of speaking for a bit with M. Khan last night, he came to call at the DF Mansion only moments after you had left.

I have asked Mlle. Bud to be my Maid of Honor and she has accepted, and also asked Mlle. Thropp if she would be a bridesmaid.

I shall work out invitations, and I thought, if it were agreeable with you, we might have very pale pink, mint green, and white for our decoration colors. I had thought perhaps Red and white, but as it is a spring wedding, the lighter colors seemed suitable.

Oh, and vows Erik, we... we shall have to write our vows. *blushes* Is there... is there anything you might wish to hear on our wedding day? Any vow at all that might please you?

Oh, good! Then I shall ask him. I am sorry to have missed him at the Mansion; it has been such a dreadfully long time since I have really spoken to him. I am certain Mlle. Bud will make a wonderful Maid of Honor, and I am glad to see that you have asked Mlle. Thropp. She is a very dear friend to me, as you know.

Those colors sound beautiful--the invitiations will be lovely under your artistic judgment, dearest. Is there anything I may help with? I really do not know much about weddings, as the topic was never very relevant in my lifetime...

Vows, yes, vows. Er. *smiles lopsidedly and pinches self to check if this is still really happening* I...I... am having trouble thinking of any at the moment. What sort of vows are usually made? But of course we should have special ones... are there any that you would like, Christine?

Oh, well... I really don't know precicely what vows are said, having never been to a wedding... But... But I should think that this wonderful Internet might have some information of them?

I think... oh, I hope this does not sound terrible Erik... but perhaps if... if you might be willing to promise not to kill anyone, unless you absolutely must for safety?

That is not terrible, Christine; it is quite reasonable. Now that I am...with you... I know that it would be unfair of me to murder for the sake of convenience or simple anger, and perhaps be forced on the run from yet another place. That is a promise I must make if there is to be any trust between us...

Thank you Erik.

Is there... any vow you should like from me?
