"Who are you?"

Grant looks up at her, smiling in amusement. "My name is Grant, young sera."

"That's a funny name. You don't look like a knight. Are you a scholar?"

[plastic_loyalty]

"Is it?" Grant asks, tickled. "No, I'm not a knight. I suppose I am a scholar."

[luneta_lioness]

"What do you study? Father says scholars either study law or philosophy or theology."

[plastic_loyalty]

"That's probably mostly true," Grant says, propping his chin on one hand, "But I study the human mind, and how to keep it healthy."

[luneta_lioness]

"Mother says eating well and minding your own business keeps the spirit whole."

[plastic_loyalty]

"That's certainly part of it," Grant says, smiling, "I hope you listen to her."

[luneta_lioness]

"She's as boring as father."

[plastic_loyalty]

Grant laughs. "Is she?"

[luneta_lioness]

"Yes," she says gloomily. "My parents are the most boring people in the world."

[plastic_loyalty]

"A crying shame," Grant says, grinning. "However did they raise such an intriguing daughter?"

Dimples. "Oh, I don't listen to them."

[plastic_loyalty]

"I see. A feral child."

[luneta_lioness]

"I'm very wild," she says sweetly.

[plastic_loyalty]

"Horrors," he says, with a grin and a lift of his eyebrows.
