For the Pevensie Family

Nov 20, 2006 17:21

The letter is set out where her brothers and her sister are sure to find it (or at the very least one of them will, and they may pass the news on to the others). It is written on parchment, in Queen Lucy’s script, and her name is scrawled across the bottom, her siblings’ names across the top.

To My Brothers, Peter & Edmund, and My Sister, Susan:

Last evening Aslan (no longer a cub) and I were discussing Narnia, and I did not quite realize before how much I missed it. Aslan’s tales have made me sick for the place all the more. I miss the fauns (Mister Tumnus especially!), and the trees, and Cair Paravel, and the way the sky looks, and simply everything!

Aslan has shown me the way to Narnia. You will not worry about me if time here manages the same as it once did, if ages can pass in Narnia and here it is the same hour. But I wished to let you know.
I have left with Aslan this very morning to Narnia, for Cair Paravel, where we will be awaiting your arrival. Aslan has left a trail for you, and I hope to see you arrive soon. Peter, Georgiana is urged to come along. And should either Edmund or Susan wish to bring someone along, there are no objections.

All of my love,
Lucy

Typist: The adventure in Narnia is here and open to the Pevensie family, Georgiana, and anyone Edmund and Susan may like to bring along, as well as to Aslan (of course). The entry is bendy time, no rush to reply at all. Lucy was just screaming in my head to visit, so there we have it.

letter, lucy pevensie
