While out on a walk, Cywyllog managed to find her way to the Mansion all by herself. She'd heard about the explosion, of course, so seeing it back in once piece as if nothing happened is rather curious

"Hey!" Percy waves. "How are you? Did you settle in okay?"

[cywyllog]

Cywyllog waves back, with a small smile.

"Hello, Peredur. I am... adjusting. I expect it will take some time. I trust you have been well?"

"Oh, I'm okay. I'm building houses." He beams. "There's some people need houses. Did you find a place to stay?"

[cywyllog]

"That must keep you rather occupied, what with your garden to tend as well."

Her smile falters some. "I did. I am staying with Mordred, Gawain and Clarissant."

"I haven't got anything in the garden now. I mean--first frost's come, so nothing's growing now. If I get my greenhouse built, and my cold frame, I'll have carrots and lettuce and stuff, but I haven't got an sheet glass, so I can't start that yet. It's good to have something to keep me busy.

"Is that okay?" anxiously. "I mean--I'm scared of Clar, so--"

"Well," she takes a deep breath, "she scares me a little too, to be honest, and I do not think she is terribly happy about having to share the attic with me, but so far it seems to be going all right."

"Yeah, I know. If she turns you into a hedgehog, though, Gawain or Mordred will make her turn you back." He cracks a grin--it was meant to be a joke. "I bet you'll do okay, though. You don't seem like you could upset anybody."

[cywyllog]

"I think Mordred may be a little upset."

And then she blinks, eyes wide. "...a hedgehog?"

Thoughtfully, "Mordred's sad, and he don't even remember as much as I do." A pause, and a laugh. "Oh! Yeah. She turns people into hedgehogs sometimes."

[cywyllog]

"No, it seems he does not." She answers quietly, because really, she's still stuck on the hedgehog business.

"I see. He did not mention that."

If she doesn't think about it, neither will he--that's how he lives--so he goes on quickly with her. "She's done it to a couple of people I know."

"I suppose I shall have to stay on her good side, then." She forces another smile, but she's still a bit shaken.

"But like I said, I don't guess you'd ever upset her," hurriedly.

[cywyllog]

"I hope not, but then, I have been known to annoy people on occasion." Her smile widens slightly.

"You've never annoyed me."

[cywyllog]

She laughs softly. "We have met but twice. Give me time, perhaps I will eventually."
