She drops straight into a deep curtsey, her eyes fixed on the ground before her. Fair lord.

*watches her, privately wondering what on earth Guinevere's going to think* The man you seek does not deserve such praise, lady.

Her eyes are still intent on the ground before her, and perhaps his feet, those blessed feet. "The man I seek, dear lord, is the greatest and fairest of men. He deserves more than what humble praise I can give him."

*laughs a bit, gently chiding* Good lady, you will swell his head. I am certainly not the greatest. That title is given to another.

"In...In image, my lord?" She wonders whether perhaps she may have been confused. After all, she'd been told the name of the man she sought was Galahad, so maybe this man was not her knight, though her heart was certain it was so.

*well, depending on which story you go by --* A bit. Some say he favours his mother.

Dare she ask? "And what name has his mother, my lord?"

Her eyes fly to his, torn between anger, hurt, confusion... So many reactions, all brought about by just one word. "You jest with me, my lord..."
