Your dodo, my friend. You've got one coming.

*is a confused prince :D* Sir, do give me pardon that I know not-- but dodo? *a pause and then, hesitantly* A gift of Norway?

*laughs and offers Alan* Here's one. It was a gift from me, actually.

*watches Alan for a moment, then dares to to stroke a feather gently* What is't? *blinks and then nods to Thursday* Forgive me. I am Hamlet, of Denmark and sometime her prince. I know you not, yet you gift me well.

Alan: *plocks and looks adoring! He really likes Hamlet. :D*

*smiles and bows* Thursday Next. I -- well, let's just say I know you in another world. You've stayed at my mum's house, in fact.

*pauses to take this in-- and is looking a little faintly disbelieving* I remember't not, yet an I have, I humbly thank you for your home. *pets Alan a bit more* What brand of creature is't? 'Tis most unworldly and strange, as of a dream. Most amiable seemeth he.

Alan: *snuggles ^_^*

You're quite welcome, though you should really be thanking my mum. *and looks amused at Alan* He's a dodo -- and he's really only like this around you. He's a bit of a holy terror around me and his mum.

All thanks to your mother, then, would you tell her of them. *would snuggle the dodo if it looked like it'd be possible; as it is, he's very nearly smiling fondly at it-- not quite, but it's in his eyes, behind the sadness that never leaves* Have I tamed thee, my phantasmic one? Thou hast no good choice of men, and thou hast made no great one.

I certainly will, if she ever shows up here. *is still smiling at Alan, because really, they're adorable* *amusion* No great one? You helped me save the world, in a roundabout sort of way.

*has a bad habit of being adorable, but usually only Horatio sees it* *looks up in surprise* Nay, nay 'twas not I. *a little sadly* I could not save my father's land; the world, that is far beyond me.

*amused blink* Pickers and Alan are around here somewhere, I'm sure.

Glad to hear it. I don't know where we'd be without the extra dodos. *bows, and looks charming, because he can, demmit* His Majesty King Fortinbras the First of Norway.

*bows in return, smiling* Pleased to meet you, sir.
