Because good looks are subjective, and don't really matter in life anyway. Intelligence is what you need to live in this world.

Yes, I am a non-magical human, though I've never heard of that designation before, nor the term 'Muggle'. Why would you expect that I would not be?

I am a wizard. I come from a long pure bloodline of wizards and witches. There are many of my type here... So I thought it wise to ask. *eyeing her carefully*

Thank you for the warning. Though I think it is wise to be careful with anyone here, as many of them seem - as you say - unfriendly.

There's many a casual mass murderer or torturer here, yes....

There are also many vampires here.

Mass murderers and torturers? Well, I don't think I've met anyone quite like that yet, but I will certainly be careful of them.

Yes, I've met quite a few of the vampires here. There were a few who were rather intimidating, and one or two who were acutally surprisingly thoughtful.

I've been killed at this place twice already. The first time by one of the Gods; the second by my own Aunt, who need I say is psychotic.

Have you come across this vampire that you encountered previously?
