She’s an awkward thing, pretty enough though she can’t see it, with dark hair and eyes and a dreamy look across her face. Her eyes rove the place as if she’s comfortable with suddenly finding herself in a new place (and she is, really, enough anyways) but curious as to what the place is, how she arrived there and why she is there

Oh, I understand that feeling quite well. I don't much like being called baroness. That makes me feel old. Good thing no one ever calls me such anymore.
