There is a lake by the DF Mansion.
Today it has seemed to grow by a will all its own; it is now larger, deeper, and there are shadows beneath the water. Once in a while, if one looks closer, visible among the waves is a flicker of a tail or the arch of a back, but only for a moment.
When it appears, it appears suddenly: two soulful eyes set in a face, dark and scaled, atop a long, thin neck that could perhaps be called graceful. It is large, very large, yet not immediately threatening. It watches.
It is she and she is Leviathan.
"Good day," she says, her voice almost gentle, and then she waits, perfectly still, for an answer.
