It is useful, especially if ghosts have something wrong with them.

Oh, good. I was fairly sure there wasn't, but it's always nice to know for certain.

I should probably clarify that "something wrong" with a ghost isn't a value judgment. It means the ghost is lonely, or is vengeful, or the usual things that a ghost would be if it is causing trouble to people.
