*Enter, by means of a pair of magnificent wings taller than he himself, an angel, flying with practiced ease. The Archangel, to be exact, a handsome man of perhaps thirty with black hair, tanned skin, angular features and eyes bluer than blue. He wears only a vest and pants, both of leather, and bands of silver and sapphire around his wrists.
He lands gracefully, scarcely a second passing between the last beat of his wings and the first step he takes. There is a pause, as he watches his surroundings, not smiling. When he finally speaks, his voice is measured and melodic.*
I am Gabriel, the Archangel. *and another brief pause accompanied by a slight frown* Have any of you seen the angelica?
Typist: Not!Gabriel, from Sharon Shinn's Archangel. Yes. Nobody hurt me please.
