Good day, or evening, or morning (depending on where you are),
My name is Violet Baudelaire. I'm an inventor and am currently investigating the mysterious group called the V.F.D. with my younger brother and sister, Klaus and Sunny. Unfortunately, I don't seem to know where they are at the moment. If you have any information concerning either of these two things (the V.F.D. or the disappearance of my siblings), please contact me immediately. Terrible things tend to happen when we are apart.
Of course, terrible things happen when we are together as well. Our parents died in a terrible fire and we are currently on the run from a very evil man called Count Olaf. He is recognizable by his one eyebrow and the very distinct tattoo of an eye on his ankle. Any information regarding Count Olaf would also be apreciated.
Also, we are dear friends with the Quagmire Triplets: Isadora, Duncan and Quigley. Any and all knowledge of their whereabouts is greatly desired. We fear terribly for their safety.
You see, they are heirs to a great sapphire fortune. Just as my siblings and I are heirs to a great fortune. Count Olaf desires to get his greedy hands on both of our fortunes and will stop at nothing to accomplish this task.
Please, do not help this evil man by withholding any information. All my siblings and my friends and I desire is a place to be safe from the evils of the world. A place where we can practice our individual talents in peace.
