Well, Millicent pointed out (inadvertantly) that I had not introduced myself, so I shall oblige and do so.

I am Estella Bolger, from Whitmoor, about halfway between Buckland and Hobbiton. It's not really even a town, just a couple of farms that are close together. My brother, Freddie, is good friends with the Thain's son, Pippin, and the son of ( Read more... )

*tilts head curiously* I must say, I've not heard of hobbits. Do you, by any chance, know a Mr. Samwise Gamgee? I believe he's here, too.

Anyways. *bows* Welcome, mademoiselle! I am Marius Pontmercy. *grins* Pleased to meet you, I'm sure, and I hope you have a wonderful time in this den of insanity community.

Typist: OMG ICON LOVE *ded*

Sam! Of course I know Sam! He's Mayor Gamgee, now, I suppose. At least, back home right now he is. My typist is warning me about time continuums, which confuses me terribly, but apparently the Sam here may be younger or older than the Sam back home.

Meh.

Anyway, he's a friend of Merry's, and he married my friend Rosie. Although Rosie is a bit more like an older sister, being near 20 years older than I.

But I am hoping to have some fun. I love conversing with new people. Hobbits can get rather tiresome, as a whole, although Merry is infinately more interesting than most Hobbit-lads, seeing as how he's been all over Middle-Earth. A pleasure to meet you Mr. Pontmercy.

Typist: OMG YES!

Mayor I am still, Mistress, never you fear about that! On my fourth term at it, or is it fifth? I've never been one with numbers. Mister Frodo had a better head for them. It's good to be seeing you here and abouts! Rose-wife and the little ones and me would love to be having you and yours join us for Supper at Bag End.

Seeing as I've another birthday coming up, there'll be a party in the Party Field if you'd care to be joining us then.

Ah, Sam, how wonderful to see you again! Of course, I would adore having supper with you and Rosie at Bag End. I'll be sure to relay the invitation to Merry.

And we most certainly will be at your birthday party. I, for one, wouldn't miss it for the world.

Well, we are a short race, akin to humans. We have pointed ears and large feet, which are usually covered in curly hair. We have curly hair on our heads, too. And we tend to have round faces.

Typist: XD I'm sending all the typists into fits! Egads!

Short you say? That's rather...unique.

Yes? Well, I suppose it must be. We're shorter than dwarves, but not by much.

You're quite welcome.

I never need reminding that I am short when I'm around you people.

You are all very tall to me.

Must you resort to alcohol at the first lull in the conversation? It appears so.

I would say I am pleased to make your acquaintance were it not for the fact that I have not been as of yet properly introduced. I am Mr.Darcy, Lord of Pemberley.
