Word has reached me of what has happened to you at the hands of some of *distasteful sneer* my kind. The matter is being dealt with as best I can and I would like to assure you that this act will not go unpunished. I do not know the details, and I don't need to know, but if there is anything you might wish to say to aid us in punishing the guilty, such would be greatly appreciated.
Know this much. No one harms my friends and gets away with it. I can either assume the worst - and knowing the identity of one of the culprits, I suspect "the worst" is not far off from the truth - but I would rather act on the truth. I wish to assure you that I will not let this matter rest.
