Here I find myself in strange place full of strange people. There is much different here from my home and home of my friends. But I am a man of science and more and so I investigate and find that to hire a typist is good for learning. So I find this typist, who is also hired by many others and so I believe she must know this job well, and we come to some agreement. She must travel and tells me that I must wait but when she returns she will begin work for me. I believe her and I wait. After much time and trial of patience, she let me come to where she lives and she says she will show me what I hire her for. When I hire her, I think she use the machine like Miss Mina but instead I see this strange creation. It is called ‘computer’ and I am constantly to find her in use of it.
So finally I am told that I am to introduce myself. I ask to whom but she is only heard to laugh and say that I will “find out soon enough.” I tell her that I do not like to go into agreement without knowledge of what I must do. Most help only ask for pay in money. She ask for no pay at all, as formal payment may go. I tell her that I do not appreciate being led blindly. This Miss she says she does not appreciate my speaking. A man all in white then comes to tell me that the Miss is quite rude but is also quite good at what she does, relative to other situations that I might find. So I think that I will stay and try to develop some professional relation.
Oh but I talk much and say little. I am Dr. Abraham Van Helsing. I am sure that it is a pleasure to meet you all.
Typist: I promised. And, at the expense of my grammatical senses, I've stayed true to that. ...I have such a headache now. XD
