I've noticed that there seem to be a lot of very varied ideas about political systems around here. But I've never seen them laid out carefully and explicitly, and I think I'd like to, as there are so many terms and concepts I'm quite unfamiliar with, or which seem to mean different things to me than to the people using them. I'd be very obliged for a brief primer on everyone's personal beliefs, if you have time and don't mind.
