Back from the healers...
Hello everyone!
I know I haven't checked in in the community in a while, and there is no real excuse for it. In the rush of everything, I simply forgot. I am in the final days of the end of year exams and hope to enjoy a summer together with Ron, as we prepare for the birth of our children. Yes, you are reading that right. Children. Plural, as I am expecting twins. Speaking of the pregnancy...
Earlier today, I went to see the healers. I have not been sleeping well, and decided to discuss the matter with my healer. Some of the pains that I was experiencing earlier made me decide that I should not postpone the matter any longer. I had expected my healer to prescribe a potion, or perhaps declare that everything was developing nicely after a cursory check-up. However, I was unpleasantly surprised when she suggested that I observe a period of total bed rest for the next 10 days or so. I tried to explain that there are things to be done, events to be planned and that I simply cannot be expected to restrict myself to just lying in bed, doing nothing. She was, however, most insistent, and would only concede so far as to allow me to read while in bed. *frowns in displeasure*
I suppose that in the interest of my children, I have little choice in the matter though I had really wished that the end of exams would provide me with some free time to devote to some of the other things I have been neglecting. Matters being what they are, I will not be available either here or at the Mansion. Should you wish to engage in communication of any sort, please feel free to owl me as I will most likely be able to answer those. Ron has already indicated that he will not let me get within a good 6 feet of my journal. *grins* He'd better let me answer those owls!
Ro, I hope we'll be able to continue our sessions after I return, and I do once again apologise for the way I acted yesterday. Mum and Mum Weasley, I promise everything is all right and that I am just resting. Everyone else, I will hopefully see you all in 10 days.
