*barges in* Bonjour! I am Mlle. Giry... Meg, daughter of the boxkeeper Giry. I have heard great goings on here concerning Christine and O.G... that have left le vicomte depressed and very much alone.

*looks around* There are quite a bit of gentlemen here, non? Alas, where is Raoul?

combeferre, nemo, raoul de chagny, jean prouvaire, lord henry, meg giry, zaphod, stephen maturin, philippe de chagny, darcy, courfeyrac, erik, introduction, grantaire, elizabeth bennet

Dear Lord, we're being overrun by women!

Welcome, Mlle. Giry! A pleasure to welcome a Frenchwoman to our humble community, I do believe you may be the only one we have here. Loads of Frenchmen, however. I have no idea where Monsieur le Vicomte is, unfortunately. Last I heard, he was getting drunk. But I may be off track.

Thank you for the welcome. Yes, I see a number of fellow countrymen. Somehow, I think "getting drunk" describes more than one of the people here. Anyhow, I hope to have fun getting to know all of you.

Fun is not the word I would use to describe, especially with that fellow. More like leering and insane.

...Only in certain circumstances, M. Darcy.

Insane?! Have you not seen the Opera Ghost and Monsieur Nemo?!

Leering suits yourself too, good sir. At least where Mlle. Bennet is concerned.

Mlle. Giry, it is a pleasure to make your acquaintance! I'm Jehan Prouviare; please call me Jehan. :) <-- a smiling face!

I am very glad you have friends here. I suppose Mlle Daae and M. le Fantome are occupied with each other for the time being, but I know they will come back to us soon. Until then, I hope you find it to your liking here. :)

Welcome to the community, Miss Giry. There are a great many gentlemen if you can call them that, and personally I'm delighted that you can't here, yes, but as you may have noticed, most of them direct their attention to other gentlemen.
Not that you won't do well here. I understand that the gentlemen who take no interest in other gentlemen have been positively starving for feminine company.

Sadly, after having read the book, I can see what a loss the community would be without that simpering fop of a character. Almost as bad as Mr.Wickham, really.

He may be more boy than man, but he be a rich boy-man. *pirouettes off stage*

Er, I mean, le vicomte, he is a man who knows how to love, and what it is to love. *sigh*

*lurks*

*makes scary noises*

*causes various parts of the stage to come crashing down*

Psst. Mlle Giry. This is your cue to do that whole bloodcurdling scream thing you do so well.

Regards,

O.G.

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!! It's the Ghost! The Opera Ghost!

Thank you, O.G., for giving me (and my mother at that, as well) a job.
