Ah...but I am being rude. (or so my damned typist says) Very well. I am Eric Draven. I was murdered on Devil's Night years ago, and was brought back by a crow a year later to exact my vengence on those who did the deed. It was more to avenge my beloved's death than mine... She did not deserve to die....

Eric is from both the movie "The Crow" and the novel based on the movie. I do not own the book, so I do not know the author's name, however, I can find it if need be.
