Nothing, if they act sane, and most of those from your lot - at least the male ones - tend to be childish, temperamental and completely uncaring for the mortals that they are suposed to care for.

Frankly it makes me glad the Valar are a hell of a lot saner.

*raises eyebrow* ...pshhh, mortals are dumb.

Typist: ...that's all he got from that? *headdesk* He's an idiot. I'm terribly sorry.

So? It doesn't mean gods should do things that step outside the bounds of their roles. You I can give some leniency to, given you are a war god, but some of the activities of your fellows have left much to be desired.

And yes, I know they're dumb, it makes me glad I am mainly concerned with Elves.

Typist: Hee! It happens! I can't help it that Namo gets so up tight about the Olympians - to the extent that he handed it onto Manwe! ^_^

Dude, we're gods. Nothing's outside our bounds. But hey, thanks for the leniency. *grin*

Typist: *g* Well, if all the gods give their typists as much grief as Ares is giving me, Namo's attitude is understandable. x_x;

Nothing may be outside our bounds but if we act chaotically we do not but destroy the worlds we are gods of.

Maybe it's my mindset though, I live by rules and you, being generally chaotic in nature do not - or at least not by ones as strict as I do... though you would not care to go around ending wars, now would you?

...oooh, destruction. That's m'job. *grin*

...*frowns* No, I wouldn't. You don't get invited to a lot of parties, do you?

Ahh but if you totally destroyed the world there would be nothing left to make war on, now would there? You at least have to have sides that can fight.

The parties I tend to be invited to... well if it's all of the Valar then I don't mind, but I'm not fond of the male bonding ones - it may suit some but getting drunk on badly-brewed beer and getting into belching contests isn't quite my thing.

...true. *ponders, then perks up* I could cause fights between immortals, couldn't I?

...*looks amused that he missed the point, then grins* Oooh, sounds like MY kind of thing. Think I could manage an invite to one of those?

I supose, given the nature of you fellows. The Valar have already done that one.

Next time I run aross Tulkas and Oromë I'll let them know about you. *Small grin*
