*looks around in awe* I wonder what longitude and latitude this is? Certainly not England, nor France-- for I've been to France on holiday, you see. I’ve not even fallen down a rabbit-hole this time, have I? Or gone through the looking glass. Why, I haven’t an idea where I am, but it’s so very curious. I have been going to all sorts of curious places recently, though really, my sister does say that I’ve just an overactive imagination. I happen to think that she’s altogether too serious, but she says because she’s older, she must know better. I shan’t believe her for one second, for I know what I’ve seen just as well as I know that my name is-- Oh!
I’ve been terribly rude, haven’t I? I shall have to tell myself not to do such things again, rambling about when I haven’t even introduced myself properly. It’s simply bad manners, and Mother would be terribly disappointed in me. You must be so very curious, and here I am-- *uncertain little curtsy* I’m Alice. I’m already seven years old, so I’ve been to day-school and have learned many lessons. And I’m much further ahead than Mabel, so if you should need to know something, even difficult things such as mulitplication tables, I’ll be able to help you. *cheerful smile* Just ask.
Well. I still seem to know who I am, so thankfully that hasn’t changed, for I so hate it when one asks such a simple question and I haven’t an answer at all. Well, I haven't seen any strange bottles or little cakes here, so I expect that I shan't grow or change at'll, except in the manner that little girls are supposed to. Now that I've remembered to introduce myself, however, perhaps someone could kindly tell me where we are? Where-ever it is, I should love to everyone, as I am sure there are some very interesting people around. *looks behind her suddenly* Now, I must go, for it must be time for tea. I shall pet Dinah for a bit, and then come back to see who might answer my little post.
