In case you didn't see when Adam said it, him and me are having a contest to prove once and for all that I'm the best. Pippi Longstocking is our judge, but anyone else can also judge, as long as you choose me. The contest is this: we each make up a game and whoever makes up the best one wins. This is my game!
It goes like this: you get a group of people together and make sure everyone knows each other real well. Then everyone switches places and pretends to be each other. If I was playing here, maybe I'd pretend to be Pippi and she'd pretend to be Adam and he'd pretend to be the Artful Dodger and he'd pretend to be Wendy and she'd pretend to be Jack Pumpkinhead and he'd pretend to be me. Everyone has to remember who everyone else is pretending to be, or it doesn't work right. And everyone should pretend so well that it's easy to remember. Once everyone figures out who everyone's pretending to be, you go find an adventure. It can be a real adventure or a pretend adventure, but a real one would be better. On the adventure everyone has to keep pretending to be the other person. So if I was playing here and we went on an adventure and found Captain Hook, Jack would have to fight him and maybe also rescue Dodger and the rest of us would fight the other pirates. If anyone does something the person they're pretending to be wouldn't do, they're out of the game. The only exception is if someone is really in trouble. If Captain Hook was about to squish Jack's head, I could go save him even though in real life Pippi wouldn't have to save me. The person who does the best job of pretending to be someone else wins the game, but there doesn't really have to be a winner (I'd always win, anyway). And then you also have to make it through the adventure, of course. And maybe in the middle of the game people can decide together to switch who they're pretending to be. If I was going to do that, I could talk to Wendy and Adam and decide that I'd pretend to be Dodger and Adam would pretend to be Jack and Wendy would pretend to be Pippi. And then we'd have to pretend so well that Pippi, Dodger, and Jack would know who we were supposed to be. And it's even better if we can convince people outside the game that we're really who we're pretending to be, or at least make them really confused. And maybe if we're fighting another group we could start to pretend to be them and pretend that they're us and confuse them even more.
Can you come up with anything that good, Adam? :P :P :P :P :P :P
