I'm a soldier at heart but no Gascon and am apparently dashingly handsome and utterly brainless before women, especially Roxane. Besides, what does it matter anyhow that Edmond Rostand wrote me as good-looking when I face myself in the mirror every morning and my mother says "You, a sex symbol? Oh please, look at your nose!"...
