I bear sad tidings

This is a letter in response to the previous one posted in this community, by myself, Mr. Squashly. Prior to the information that was appointed to me from Mr.Darcy, he has now sent an urgent letter explaining the new details as to his technological predicament. Sadly, his means of communication, had not been truly fixed as the factory-people told him it was, and was returned to him quite in the same state that it had been in the first place. Needless to say this has distressed Mr.Darcy greatly, but he upholds the knowlegde as best he can. He will remain active in this community, however not as active as he would ever have liked to have been. The nearest date at which I can set for his arrival would be in Mid-June.
