Good even, friends. I am Olivia, a countess of Illyria. I am told I am in a play called Twelfth Night, or What You Will, by William Shakespeare. If you know this play you know also my foolish history, so foolish it makes me blush to think of it. Imagine, a woman to fall in love with another woman while she is dressed as a man! I did marry that woman's brother, but doing so was rather an accident and I now think perhaps a mistake. Sebastian is a sweet boy, but alas, he is not my dear Cesario. Besides, methinks he has a "thing," as the maid who types for me would say, for the sea captain that did rescue him. Certainly the reverse is true.

I think I shall enjoy my time here. Some of you seem to be not altogether in your wits, but no less so than many in my household.
