Some mice appreciate clean. Benjy, for example.

Typist: I've had her about for a while, and what with a movie, Deschanel made proper icons for her at last, and here she is.

*looks thoroughly bemused* You're a pet of a mouse? ...we are talking about the same creature, yes? Small, scrabbly, with big eyes and thin tails?

Yes, that is generally what mice look like. Benjy and Frankie are small and white, and tend to help me out a lot with projects. I thought they were my lab mice, originally, but I'm thinking nowadays that I'm they're lab human.

Indeed. Some people seem to like them, especially certain types of young ladies. My secretary keeps a pair of rats in the house.

I never could understand the practice, myself.
