Aiya. I am known as Legolas Greenleaf, an elf of Taur-e-Ndaedelos, or Mirkwood as it is more commonly called. I was also, at one time, an elf of Gondolin, but that tends to confuse things, so I rarely mention it. I am a ranger of sorts, and have some skill at woodcraft and the like. I believe that the novels Mr. Tolkien wrote have been quite popular, though I fear he did get some things wrong, which is to be expected. I am most known for taking part in the Fellowship of the Ring, and helping the Ring-bearer, Frodo Baggins, on his journey. I also hope that you will not think too badly of me, because of the recent movies. While Orlando Bloom has given my character an easily recognized face, I fear that is all he managed to accomplish.

I am pleased to see that there are others here from my world, though I am a bit daunted to see such figures from legend.

I hope that I have the chance to get to know each of you better.
