Hullo. My name is Sherlock Holmes. Doubtless you've heard of me, though I'm certain to be misunderstood amidst the din of cliches which my words have become.
I apologize in advance for any lack of intelligence which you see in my writing. You see, my typist is quite the idiot, though his willingness to work odd hours and at my every whim was a major selling point.
Currently, there is such a lag that I must find something else to fill my time with. What better way to fill the idle time than with idle correspondence?
I see that my good friend Dr. Watson is aboard here. I shall have to bother him sometime, if he does not seek me out.
At any rate, I shall warn everyone in advance that I have some very annoying habits. I shall try to keep them to a minimum here, however they do have a habit of showing themselves.
