Click, click, of boots across the floor. A pause. Top hat was hung on a rack, trenchcoat following suit. Leather-clad hands straightened his light coat that he wore, dark brown in color. When he turned, a long silvery ponytail tied back with a black ribbon swayed. Brushing invisible dust from his shoulders, the man surveyed the area.

Most likely recognizable by some, or strange for others, Javert lowered his gaze to the floor for a brief second before he took a bold step closer. He hadn't been present in years; he remained in solitude, raising his daughter - Musetta - without another parent to aid him. Now it was time for him to return to civilization for himself and his little girl.

His gloved hand smoothed back his sideburns slowly, as if the final preparation.

Then he spoke.

"Bonjour."

((Guess who's back.))
